NEW YORK – Ranking fifth in the nation in assists with 6.9/game and 10th in steals with 2.88/game was just the beginning of a spectacular senior season for Paul Dail as the guard earned City University of New York Athletic Conference/ Con Edison Second Team All-Star honors as announced at the CUNYAC Press Luncheon yesterday.
The Old Westbury native scored a career-high 22 points on 7-of-12 shooting in a win on the road against Medgar Evers College. He registered four double-digit assist performances this season, including a career-high 13 assists in early December when CCNY hosted Wilkes University. He recorded seven steals twice this season and is averaging 4.4 points and 3.3 rebounds this season.
Dail and the seventh-seeded Beavers face the second-seeded Bearcats of Baruch College on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 3 p.m. at the ARC Arena.
