Christian Morgia became Austin College's all-time leading scorer last week and scored 57 points in two games. The senior added 5.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.5 steals while shooting 11-for-12 from the line.

Joe Faires Joe Faires' career-high 29 points in Sunday's 79-61 win against Hendrix came on 13-for-17 shooting from the floor. The sophomore (pictured) scored 47 points in 50 minutes of action over two games, finishing 18-for-26 from the floor, adding nine rebounds, five assists and four steals.

Hamilton's Mike Schantz makes his first Team of the Week appearance of the 1998-99 season in leading his team to a 2-1 week. The senior shot 32-for-50 from the floor, averaging 27.7 points and 14.0 rebounds per game.

Women's

St. Lawrence's Meredith Eisenhut averaged 20 points per game and shot 23-for-30 from the floor (76.7%) and 3-for-4 from 3-point range. Add 9-for-11 from the line and you have a guard that missed only nine shots in three games. Not bad. Plus, 5.7 steals per game.

Kathryn Otwell averaged 30 points, six rebounds and four steals per game in two wins for Hardin-Simmons. The junior scored a career-high 37 points against Schreiner, including 15-for-17 from the free-throw line.

Joanne Polakoski is a repeat member of the Team of the Week. The junior forward led King's to a 2-0 week, averaging 22.5 points and 12.0 rebounds. Polakoski posted a career-high 33 points against regionally ranked Delaware Valley while equaling her career-high of 16 rebounds in only 28 minutes of action. Polakoski has scored in double-figures in all 16 games she has played in this year. She added three blocked shots.

Colby-Sawyer's Alison Gulubicki averaged only 12.7 points but added 6.0 rebounds and shot 14-for-23 from the floor in 16.7 minutes over three games. The senior led the Chargers to a 3-0 week.

Anderson forward Rachel Miller rounds out the team, averaging 20.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in 24.5 minutes per game. The freshman shot 57.7 percent from the floor and 73.3 percent from the line.
